In a project sponsored by Advanced Bio-Agro Tech Limited (ABTL), we are working an important biochemical component in the poultry feed material. Various feeds are being analyzed for the quality and quantity of this component. The enzymes manufactured by ABTL are also being tested to improve nutritional content of the feed material.
Symbiosis School of Biomedical Sciences (SSBS) had recently organized the inaugural function for the laboratory for Joint Collaborative Project between Symbiosis School of Biomedical Sciences (SSBS) & Huvepharma SEA (Pune) Pvt. Ltd. on 30th August, 2016. In the Inaugural Function Dr Alain Kanora, Global Marketing Director & International Sales Director Affiliates, Huvepharma had graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Mr. O. P Singh, Managing Director, Huvepharma SEA India Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Devender Hooda, Director (Sales & Technical), Huvepharma SEA India Pvt. Ltd. were the Guests of Honour. Inaugural Function started at 10.00 am on 30th August, 2016. Dr. Vinay Rale, Director SSBS welcomed and felicitated the guests. The Chief guest Dr. Alain Kanora lighted the lamp and declared the laboratory open. The lab will primarily be involved in development of diagnostic PCR assay for screening of Mycoplasma gallisepticum & Mycoplasma synovie in poultry
We are working on isolation, characterization and development of a vaccine for Inclusion Body Hepatitis (IBH) virus, a project entitled "Isolation and Characterization of Fowl Adenovirus (FAdV) Associated with Inclusion Body Hepatitis (IBH) Virus as a Candidate Vaccine Strain". This is sponsored by Japfa Comfeed India Private Limited, Pune, India. This study could be helpful for the prevention of IBH outbreaks that are happening in spite of regular vaccination in the poultry industry.

Ltd which is a privately-owned pharmaceutical company, headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a focus on developing, manufacturing and promoting human and animal health products. The current collaborative project is in the area of development of Diagnostic PCR assays for screening Mycoplasma gallisepticum & Mycoplasma synovie in poultry samples.
